The Tribal Fusion is the blending of very different dance styles: Tribal Belly Dance, Funky, Contemporary Dance, Jazz, Martial Arts...

It is characterized by the precise control of the muscles, which allows to make specific and dissociated movements and fluent body waves, and making the layering execution possible.

    What  Tribal Fusión is?

The Tribal Fusion appears at the end of the 90's by Jill Parker, who decided to change the American Tribal style and mix it with Hip-Hop to give it more complexity and expressivity. With the dance change is  a change in the costume's style, becoming easier to allow  greater mobility.

  What  the  American  Tribal  is?

  Where does it come from?

Tribal is a dance style mainly derivative from the traditional Belly Dancing.

The colourful outfits and the varied movements are the mixture of diferent cultures (Indian, Middle-Eastern and North-African dances, Flamenco, etc.).

It's a group improvised dance form, made possible by a system of signals and cues carryed out by a changing leader, making the group coordination easier.

The universality  of this dance make the rules strict and the movement's repertoire limited.
